Job Description
Responsibilities:
Reporting to a Reliability Maintenance Supervisor, the Predictive Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following;- Collect and analyze data on all types of process equipment using predictive maintenance technologies
- Perform Vibration Analysis, Oil analysis, Thermography, Ultrasonic, and additional NDE methods.
- Create and maintain databases for each technology
- Generate and distribute condition and follow up reports to all levels of management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven safety record required
- Excellent attendance record required
- Previous training and experience with application of predictive maintenance technologies and associated software and hardware preferred
- Industrial maintenance skills equivalent to four (4) years as a journeyman preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of process equipment preferred
- Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word preferred
- Demonstrate ability to perform the essential function of the job required
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- CAT II or CAT III Vibration Analysis certification
- Infrared Thermography certification
- Ultrasound (UE) certification
- Oil Analysis certification
- Rotor balancing experience
- MT/PT certification
- RDI certification
- UT Level I or II certification
- Experience with SKF Aptitude Analyst, DBX, Microlog, or similar condition monitoring platforms.
- Previous mining process plant experience preferred, including troubleshooting and inspection of rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, agitators, and fans.
- Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent CMMS software preferred
