Job Description

Richdel Inc is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as machine maintenance and repair as well as preventative maintenance. We are seeking a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is full responsibility of the maintenance manufacturing equipment and building functions of the Company. Repair, replace, remove, and/or modify manufacturing structures and equipment to correct feed manufacturing problems of a mechanical, electrical, and/or structural nature.
  • Assess, diagnose, and evaluate feed manufacturing problems of a mechanical, electrical, and/or structural nature.
  • Perform preventative maintenance (e.g. lubrication, inspection, etc.) for feed manufacturing structures and equipment.
  • Maintain work area, tools, parts, and equipment in a clean and organized manner for the purposes of safety, efficiency, and appearance.
  • Perform other related corrective maintenance functions or duties as needed.
PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a self motivated person who can work with a minimum of supervision. Have the ability to motivate subordinates, have a level disposition, must enjoy motivating, working and communicating with subordinates, fosters and real team effort with the Company. Maintain excellent communication and relationships with other Department Managers to foster real team effort with the Company. Must be well organized, able to work with deadlines and under pressure while maintaining a level, cheerful disposition. Must be able to work on multi level projects with emphasis on timely follow-up, interaction/communication with other departments, meet deadlines, etc. Must be a team player. Have the ability to delegate, follow-up and maintain a positive attitude.
EDUCATION & EXPIERENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Safety/OSHA knowledge.
  • Ability to meet tight schedules and handle multiple assignments.
  • Electrical and mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • PLC troubleshooting preferred.
  • Ability to read electrical prints.
  • Ability to install, diagnose, repair, wire and maintain a variety of production and building equipment.
  • Basic welding, hydraulic & pneumatic systems experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. 5 years' experience preferred.
  • GED/ HS diploma required.
