Job Summary:
We are partnering with a leading facilities organization to support the search for a Senior Maintenance Technician who will help maintain reliable, safe, and efficient building operations across a Reno portfolio. Our team is seeking a hands-on professional who can troubleshoot complex systems, support preventative maintenance efforts, and contribute to a strong service experience for tenants and building stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment, along with electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior and exterior repairs. Perform predictive, planned, preventative, and routine maintenance, including equipment rounds and service requests. Support building automation systems, control systems, and daily operation of mechanical equipment to improve performance and operating efficiency. Complete tenant service requests accurately and promptly while working safely and following established procedures and safety standards.
Required:
At least 5 years of proven hands-on HVAC experience. Experience operating, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, exhaust fan units, boilers, and chillers. Strong technical proficiency with preventative maintenance programs and equipment diagnostics and repairs. Strong understanding of building automation systems and the ability to use computerized maintenance management and technology tools. Ability to work independently with a flexible scope of responsibilities while following established procedures to minimize risk. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a team-oriented mindset.
