In-person (Reno, NV area) About the Role We are looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time position designed for someone who takes pride in their work, from precise painting to complex equipment repairs. We value detail-oriented professionals who can work effectively in teams of 2-4 with minimal supervision and who have the ambition to eventually lead their own crew.
Key Responsibilities Unit Turns:
Efficiently handle full apartment turnovers, including painting, cabinet repairs, and light plumbing.
Flooring:
Maintain, repair, and replace various flooring types, including carpet, tile, and laminate.
Systems Maintenance:
Inspect and perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and lighting.
Plumbing & Appliances:
Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues, including water heaters and general household appliances.
Facility Care:
Conduct regular inspections and repairs to ensure all facilities and equipment remain in optimal condition.
Required Skills & Experience Experience:
At least 3 years of professional maintenance experience is preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in carpentry, electrical, or appliance repair.
Communication:
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to explain repairs clearly to tenants.
Bilingual:
Proficiency in both English and Spanish is highly recommended.
Mindset:
