In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of building systems and facilities equipment to ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your expertise will help uphold our commitment to excellence, safety, and guest satisfaction, making every stay memorable through impeccable maintenance standards. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing, carpentry, and building interior components to ensure optimal functionality. Repair and troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, hand tools, electrical equipment repair techniques, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Perform welding, painting, carpentry, plumbing system maintenance, and other mechanical tasks to uphold the integrity of the facility's infrastructure. Utilize schematics and ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately; repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, outlets, or electrical panels as needed. Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC units, plumbing systems, lighting fixtures, and other mechanical systems with precision and attention to detail. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs or large-scale maintenance projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Keep detailed maintenance logs, schematics documentation, and incident reports; ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests to resolve issues efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong background in electrical work, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance and repair, carpentry, welding, and mechanical knowledge. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals; familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ohmmeters is highly desirable. Skilled in the use of hand tools and electrical equipment repair techniques; experience with maintenance painting and building interior maintenance is preferred. Ability to perform plumbing repairs including pipe fitting and system troubleshooting; knowledge of residential painting is a plus. Strong understanding of facilities equipment maintenance operations (MRO) including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing infrastructure, and building interior components. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of providing clear instructions and customer service when interacting with staff or guests. Leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Certification or experience in electrical work or HVAC systems is advantageous; a valid driver's license may be required for site inspections or contractor coordination.
