Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on all production systems. Basic repairs and preventive maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment including, but not limited to power transmission, drives, and general machine systems. Performs repairs, maintenance, and assists with installation of machines, using hand and power tools and test equipment to ensure continuous production operations. Performs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric, power, gas, or air required for operations. Installs, starts up, and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements. Ability to climb in overhead structures, work on ladders and high lifts, to work beneath machines and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work. Must be highly safety conscious with knowledge and experience with OSHA regulations. Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced food processing/manufacturing environment. Basic industrial welding, plumbing, electrical preferred Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. Repairs or replaces defective parts.
Requirements:
Candidates need to have a minimum of 5-6yrs+ experience working with manufacturing and industrial equipment repairs, additionally candidates should have inventory experience. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not necessary
Pay:
$32.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
