Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician at Cargill in our Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management team, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment to ensure safe, reliable plant operations. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, respond to breakdowns, and support root cause analysis to reduce downtime. Collaborating with engineers and operators, you'll help implement continuous improvement, follow strict safety and food-safety standards, and accurately document work in our maintenance systems. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete timely repairs during shifts Use
CMMS/EAM
to document work orders, parts usage, and maintenance history Collaborate with engineers and production to improve equipment reliability and safety Follow and promote strict safety, LOTO, and food-safety procedures Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area Required Skills Industrial equipment maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting Electrical systems maintenance Preventive maintenance (PM) PLC/automation basics Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
