Job Description

CVS Health is seeking a General Maintenance professional to support our distribution center operations. In this on-site role, you will perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and material-handling equipment to keep our healthcare distribution running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include inspecting conveyors, basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC support, responding to work orders, and assisting with facility repairs and upkeep. You'll follow OSHA and company safety standards, maintain accurate maintenance records, and collaborate with operations teams. Responsibilities Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on distribution center equipment and building systems Inspect conveyors, material-handling equipment, lighting, and HVAC and complete basic repairs or escalate issues Respond to maintenance work orders to minimize downtime and support safe, efficient operations Assist with general facility upkeep, including minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks Follow safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA guidelines in all maintenance activities Maintain maintenance logs, parts usage records, and support inventory of tools and supplies Collaborate with operations and safety teams to prioritize repairs and support continuous improvement Support vendors and contractors on specialized repairs or scheduled projects as needed Required Skills Preventive maintenance Basic electrical repair Basic plumbing repair HVAC systems support Conveyor and material-handling equipment maintenance Hand and power tool usage Reading maintenance manuals and schematics Work order and CMMS systems OSHA and workplace safety practices Lockout/tagout procedures
