Hotel Maintenance TechnicianResidence Inn and Courtyard by Marriott Central Islip, NYPosition SummaryAre you the "fixer" everyone calls when something breaks? Do you naturally take things apart just to figure out how they work? If maintenance and troubleshooting come second nature to you, The Briad Group's Hotel Maintenance Technician position is your ideal fit.

As a key member of our property team, you will ensure our dual-branded hotel runs smoothly, safely, and comfortably for every guest and associate.
Earnings Range:
$18.00 $20.00 per hour (Actual rate based on title, experience, and qualifications)
Key ResponsibilitiesProperty Upkeep:
Perform routine facility and grounds preventative maintenance to keep guest rooms and public spaces fully operational and safe.
Problem Solving:
Utilize your technical skills and resourcefulness to diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently.
Guest Relations:
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, resolving any maintenance matters to their complete satisfaction.
Safety Compliance:
Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, fellow associates, and our guests.
Additional Duties:
Complete other operational tasks as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements & QualificationsExperience:
Prior experience as a Maintenance Technician in a hotel, apartment complex, residential living facility, or similar setting (Required).
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
General knowledge of technical trades including carpentry, painting, and basic electrical work.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work independently or as part of a high-pressure team.
Physical Requirements:
Excellent visual observation abilities; must be able to lift up to 70 lbs, stoop, bend, climb ladders, and navigate stairs.
Availability:
Flexible availability to work various shifts per week.
