Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation, safety, and upkeep of our facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of building systems and equipment, troubleshooting issues promptly, and performing repairs that keep our environment safe, functional, and welcoming. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building interior maintenance will contribute directly to the smooth daily operations of our facility. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facilities equipment including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical components. cleaning and maintaining restrooms on golf course Repair and troubleshoot electrical equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure safety and compliance. Conduct HVAC system repairs and maintenance to maintain optimal climate control within the building. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, and general maintenance tasks. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for electrical work, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and other mechanical components. Lead or assist with facilities projects such as building interior maintenance, painting (including residential painting), or carpentry work to enhance the environment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used; manage maintenance schedules for MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) supplies. Collaborate with team members to address customer service requests related to facilities issues promptly and professionally. Follow safety protocols rigorously while handling electrical equipment repair or welding tasks to ensure a secure working environment. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles with knowledge of electrical work, plumbing systems, HVAC repair, welding, carpentry, and building interior maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools and electrical equipment repair. Ability to read schematics accurately and operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is a plus for troubleshooting automated systems. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience working with maintenance painting—both commercial and residential—and understanding of MRO procedures.
