Machine Maintenance Technician - 2nd & 3rd
Shift Location:
Endicott, NY Pay:
$22-$30/hour, based on experience
Schedule:
Full-time Current openings: 2nd

Approximately 3:00 PM-11:00 PM 3rd
Shift:
Approximately 11:00 PM-7:00 AM Shift times may vary slightly based on production needs. Sapphire Recruitment is seeking experienced Machine Maintenance Technicians for direct-hire opportunities with an established manufacturing company in Endicott, NY. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position focused on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or automated equipment. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment issues. Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep equipment operating efficiently. Work with motors, sensors, control panels, valves, solenoids, actuators, air lines, and related components. Complete mechanical adjustments, alignments, calibrations, and equipment repairs. Assist with equipment installations, rebuilds, and upgrades. Support CNC machines, Swiss lathes, milling centers, stamping presses, and automated manufacturing equipment. Document maintenance work, repairs, and parts used. Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality to improve equipment reliability and productivity. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of industrial maintenance, machine technician, or similar experience . Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience using hand and power tools. Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation. Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and pneumatic systems. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift. Experience with CNC equipment, Swiss lathes, milling centers, stamping presses, automated equipment, PLC troubleshooting, or mechatronics is a plus but not required.
