Job description: Overview Join our company as a Maintenance Worker, where your expertise will keep our facility running smoothly and efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities, contributing to a positive experience for employees and customers. We value proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Diagnose, repair and prevent issues on our manufacturing equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with 3-5 years experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments. Proficiency with electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting electrical issues. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately a plus. Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams or projects is a plus. Customer service skills to effectively communicate with vendors and team members. Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting purposes. Competence in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing. Basic proficiency in English for clear communication across diverse teams. Some tasks involve heights Ability to work both independently and with others Reliable transportation a must
