Construction/Building Maintenance Technician Looking for Professionals Ready to Build Their Future! Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repairs across a variety of commercial properties, Hospitals & Medical Centers Ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of safety and quality Work on various aspects of construction/building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs
Position Requirements:
3+ years of construction/building maintenance experience Eagerness to learn and grow within our firm Must be motivated, a self-starter, reliable, professional, and results/detail-oriented Excellent follow-up and organization skills Computer savvy with the ability to use digital tools and systems Must be able to take initiative, work independently, and follow directions as needed Strong procedural and proactive approach to tasks Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure Must adhere to company procedures Clean driving record (company van provided) Travel required to multiple work sites across the 5 boroughs Physical ability to perform tasks including bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and gripping with or without assistance Must be able to lift, carry (up to 50lbs), crawl, and climb ladders Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and knowledge of building maintenance OSHA 10-Hour certificate required Knowledge of occupational hazards and corresponding safety procedures Ability to use hand and power tools Experience with basic repairs, replacements, and new installations
