Job Description

Express Employment Professionals-Farmingdale, NY is looking for an experience Maintenance Technician. The hours are 3pm-11:30pm, M-F, Full Time. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and facility systems, including motors, gearboxes, pumps, boilers, compressors, PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, plumbing, heating, and basic refrigeration. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation. Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns and complete repairs in a timely manner. Maintain accurate maintenance records and manage spare parts inventory. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency. Follow GMP, OSHA, and company safety standards. Work independently with minimal supervision and be available for overtime as needed. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including PLCs and motor controls. Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment repairs. TIG welding experience and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade school training preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
