Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
Diagnose equipment problems and determine required repairs or adjustments. Maintain, adjust, repair, rebuild, and overhaul manufacturing and facility equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on complex equipment. Use hand and power tools for maintenance and repair work. Enter repair orders and maintain accurate records of labor, materials, parts, and work performed. Read and understand maintenance and equipment specification manuals. Follow written and verbal instructions. Prepare work orders and service records. Maintain a clean and organized workshop area. Communicate and work effectively with team members and other associates. Perform mechanic-helper duties independently when required.
Physical & Safety Requirements:
Stand for the entire shift. Regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Work around moving equipment and typical production-environment noise. Work in hot and cold temperatures as needed. May need to access areas over 8 feet using a manlift. May operate machinery and work in confined spaces. May be required to use a respirator. Steel-toed shoes are required. Candidates must be fluent in and able to read and write either English or Spanish due to on-site safety requirements. #4002
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Experience:
manufacturing and facility equipment repair: 3 years (Preferred)
