Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Production/Maintenance Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity in Lancaster, NY. This 2nd shift Maintenance Technician role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing professional who enjoys troubleshooting production equipment, keeping operations running smoothly, and reducing downtime in a fast-paced plant environment. This opportunity offers a stable on-site role with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and equipment reliability. The right candidate will join a maintenance environment where dependable technicians are valued, independent problem-solving is encouraged, and production teams rely on skilled maintenance support to keep automated equipment performing at its best. This is a great fit for someone who takes pride in quality repair work, continuous improvement, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and automated systems. Diagnose issues with PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, valves, cylinders, drives, and related production machinery components. Perform preventive maintenance, equipment cleaning, machine changeovers, tooling replacements, and startup and shutdown procedures. Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation to complete repairs accurately. Support facility operations, including generator power changeovers, rigging, machinery relocation, spill response, snow removal, and ERP inventory transactions. Follow all safety procedures while helping minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Compensation and Benefits Job Type:
Direct Hire.
Pay Range:
$55,000 to $75,000 annually, based on experience.
Schedule:
2nd Shift, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Lancaster, NY.
