Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this position is to provide maintenance of plant equipment including mixers, pumps, screw conveyors, motors, bearings, gear boxes, hydraulic systems, and maintenance welding.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate the ability and desire to learn the skills necessary for further advancement Understand and demonstrate basic electrical safety Possess the required tools Be able to properly & safely use hand tools Operate MC Cart, Fork Lift and Man Lift Demonstrate ability to use basic measuring tools (tape measure, scale, ruler, square, etc.) Demonstrate above average accuracy of work in regards to EHS Other duties as assigned.
PRE-HIRE REQUIREMENTS
Possess a valid US Driver's License Able to work any shift Good verbal and written communication skills Experience working in industrial environment High School Diploma or GED Able to perform physical labor Authorized to work in the United States Have verifiable experience or schooling in the Industrial Mechanical Field Score at least 40% on the Mechanical Maintenance Technician test Demonstrate the ability and desire to learn the skills necessary for further advancement Understand and demonstrate basic electrical safety Possess the required tools Be able to properly & safely use hand tools Demonstrate ability to use basic measuring tools (tape measure, scale, ruler, square, etc.) Demonstrate above average accuracy of work in regards to EHS Competent in Requirements of the Mechanical Maint. Agreement.
