Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the NY Maintenance Department supporting the manufacturing plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Multiple schedules available 8-hour and 12-hour shifts Weekday and weekend schedules Day, evening, and overnight shifts What's the Job? Ensure that all production machines are operational and working according to OEM standards and safety requirements. Implement, maintain, and support company policies, safety programs, and good housekeeping practices. Coordinate maintenance work to minimize machine downtime and support production needs. Report safety, quality, and operational issues to the Maintenance Manager. Assist in solving production problems that cannot be resolved at the supervisory level. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED with basic reading, writing, and math skills at a 10th-grade level. Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic computer skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately. Knowledge of equipment design, capabilities, and quality standards.
