The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning hotel environment while providing friendly and professional service to our guests and employees. Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to guest room and hotel maintenance requests. Perform preventive maintenance throughout the property. Troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical repairs. Perform painting, drywall repair, caulking, carpentry, and general maintenance. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas for maintenance concerns. Complete and document assigned work orders. Identify and report safety hazards or major repair needs. Maintain tools, equipment, and Engineering areas in a clean and safe condition. Assist with emergency maintenance situations when necessary. Work cooperatively with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other hotel departments. Interact with guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. Follow all hotel safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous hotel maintenance or building maintenance experience preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs. Must work well with others and be a team player. Must be able to communicate effectively in English with guests, coworkers, and management. Must have a friendly, professional, and customer-service-focused attitude. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to use tools safely. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently when necessary. Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced hotel environment. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position. Flexible availability based on hotel operations, including weekends and holidays as needed. Schedule Full-time position. Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on hotel operations.
