Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. Duties Perform complex electrical work including troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment and systems using schematics and test tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct HVAC system repairs and routine maintenance to ensure optimal climate control within the facility. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose issues and implement solutions in automated systems. Carry out welding, carpentry, plumbing system maintenance, and repair tasks with precision to uphold building integrity. Maintain facilities equipment including hand tools, electrical equipment, plumbing fixtures, and building interior components through scheduled inspections and repairs. Lead maintenance painting projects—residential or commercial—to enhance facility aesthetics and protect surfaces. Review schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants while ensuring safety standards are met. Supervise or assist with maintenance painting projects and other building interior upkeep activities. Document all maintenance activities accurately in logs; perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Lead or support team efforts in facilities maintenance operations, fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety and quality. Qualifications Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), with strong mechanical knowledge across various systems. Proficiency in electrical work including repair of electrical equipment; familiarity with schematics is essential. Experience with HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, carpentry, welding, and building interior upkeep. Skilled in using hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC controls, schematics, and facilities equipment maintenance best practices. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; strong troubleshooting skills are required. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of providing clear instructions or technical guidance when needed. Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor junior team members while managing multiple priorities effectively. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as necessary.
