Maintenance Mechanic We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Mechanicto join a great team at a state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility in upstate NY Oswego County location. In this critical role, you must be an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to provide daily and weekly machine maintenance, preventative maintenance, assembling, and disassembling of machines for production.

Oswego County, NY Job Responsibilities:

Performs troubleshooting on production equipment as required Assemble and disassemble machines Set up and take down of machines for daily production All Handy work for the entire facility Completing the preventative maintenance schedule as assigned for all machines and equipment, including but not limited to oiling of machines and regular maintenance Perform weekly rounds and inspections of machines to ensure all are running properly Utilizes mechanical and electrical expertise to maintain production systems, utilities, buildings, and grounds. Utilizes a computerized maintenance management system (SAP) to optimize asset utilization through scheduled preventative maintenance

Required Skills/Qualifications:

Must be able to work M-F 5:00pm-4:00am Prior mechanical experience with bakery machinery is a plus Industrial experience is a plus Handy work experience Working knowledge of Food Safety Principles, Good Manufacturing Practices, Environment Protection Agency and OSHA Requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer-based applications. SAP, a plus. Experience leading and following safety/security policies and procedures. Ability to follow all sanitation and quality policies and procedures, and report and follow through on any deficiencies. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Skill in organization and prioritization, and attention to detail. Must be able to read and write in English. Spanish is a plus.. Excel in a fast-growing environment and excited to create new procedures and processes from scratch, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.

Pay:

$28.00 - $30.00 per hour
