Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Pool Service Technician and become a vital part of maintaining pristine, safe, and inviting aquatic environments. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining swimming pools and related equipment at various aquatic facilities. Your expertise will ensure that every pool operates smoothly, meets safety standards, and provides an enjoyable experience for all users. Duties Perform routine pool cleaning including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain optimal water clarity. Conduct water chemistry balancing by testing pH levels, chlorine residuals, alkalinity, and other chemical parameters; adjust chemical levels safely using proper handling procedures. Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, valves, and timers to ensure efficient operation. Maintain and service plumbing systems associated with pools to prevent leaks or blockages. Operate company vehicles responsibly to travel between multiple client sites while adhering to safety protocols. Use hand tools and power tools to perform repairs or installations on pool systems and equipment. Document all maintenance activities accurately and communicate any issues or recommendations to clients or supervisors promptly. Requirements Proven experience with pool maintenance, water treatment chemicals, or aquatic facility operations is highly desirable. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining strict adherence to safety guidelines. Outdoor work experience with the physical stamina to perform manual tasks in varying weather conditions. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or facility staff. Valid driver's license with the ability to operate company vehicles responsibly. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in equipment repair and maintenance tasks. Knowledge of pool chemistry balancing techniques and water treatment chemical handling is essential.
