Overview Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician and become a vital part of ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Your expertise will help keep our equipment running efficiently, support building operations, and enhance the overall environment for staff and visitors alike. Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes quickly and accurately. Install, replace, or upgrade appliances and mechanical systems with precision and adherence to safety standards. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, equipment, or parts to various job sites within the facility or across locations. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure compliance and facilitate future troubleshooting. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. Assist with construction projects or renovations that require mechanical or electrical expertise while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in repairing mechanical systems, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and kitchen equipment. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems. Skilled in appliance repair, installation, and service technician practices across various equipment types. Knowledge of HVAC system repair including air conditioning units and HVAC technology fundamentals. Experience with maintenance, repair operations (MRO), equipment repair, and general building maintenance tasks. Ability to operate construction tools safely and effectively; prior construction experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward resolving issues efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Leadership qualities that enable guidance of team members during maintenance projects or emergency responses.
