Job Description
Handyman / Laborer - Contract Position Pete's Home Projects, LLC is looking for a reliable, hardworking Handyman/Laborer to join our team on a contract basis. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up when they say they will, works safely, and is comfortable handling a variety of residential home-improvement and repair projects. Responsibilities Assist with residential home repairs, renovations, and maintenance projects General carpentry and handyman work Painting and drywall repairs Furniture and fixture assembly Minor plumbing repairs Deck and exterior repairs Power washing and exterior maintenance Demolition and job-site preparation Loading, unloading, and transporting materials Maintain a clean and organized job site Follow safety procedures and protect customers' property Work independently when assigned and as part of a team Communicate professionally with customers and the project lead Qualifications Previous handyman, construction, maintenance, or labor experience preferred Experience with basic hand and power tools Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying materials Reliable transportation to job sites Dependable and punctual Able to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently Professional appearance and attitude Strong attention to detail Must be comfortable working in residential homes Ability to work safely and responsibly A valid driver's license and your own basic tools are preferred. Contract Position This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Work may vary based on our current projects and customer demand.
Pay:
Competitive, based on experience and skill level. Opportunities may be available for both occasional and regular project work for the right person.
