Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at a residential property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable living environment for residents. This role involves performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across multiple building systems. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on facilities equipment to ensure optimal operation. Utilize hand tools effectively for various repair tasks, including carpentry and interior maintenance. Conduct HVAC system inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to maintain proper climate control. Carry out carpentry work such as repairing or replacing doors, cabinets, and other wooden fixtures. Maintain the interior of buildings by addressing issues related to walls, ceilings, flooring, and fixtures. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or property management. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Experience At least 2 years of proven experience in facilities equipment maintenance within residential or commercial settings. Skilled in the use of hand tools and basic repair techniques. Knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and repair procedures. Experience with carpentry projects and interior building maintenance. Ability to diagnose problems efficiently and implement effective solutions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and residents. Pay:
From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
