Job Description

Role Overview Kodak is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Battery Coating Division located in Rochester, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of Kodak's transition into the rapidly expanding lithium-ion battery market. Come join us and be part of the transformation to clean energy!

This position will be part of a team that operates a pilot and production-scale RTR facility at the Eastman Business Park in Rochester, NY. This facility provides both experimental and production toll coating services to support the new products and technologies for the battery and energy industries. The ideal candidate will have prior experience maintaining roll-to-roll pilot and manufacturing equipment.

Requirements:

1. Provide multi-discipline capability to repair, maintain, install, and make improvements to chemical processing equipment and machinery (includes pneumatics, hydraulics, controls (PLC's), pumps and electrical components)2. Some experience or expertise in piping, HVAC equipment and controlsAbility to achieve a high level of expertise of chemical process equipment for effective troubleshooting and equipment repair3. Execute preventive maintenance program4. Calibrate, alignment and make adjustments with test equipment and production equipment5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance software tools6. Ability to fabricate to exact tolerances using lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment Skills required:

1. Formal instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and/or AEM training and demonstrated experience2. Mechanical equipment repair training and/or demonstrated experience: pumps, mechanical seals, agitators, gear boxes, fans (bearings, sheaves), alignment3. Demonstrate practical analytical troubleshooting skills4. Able to read electrical, instrument and machine drawings5. Able to read PLC programs to troubleshoot equipment problems6. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision7. Excellent safety record

HS diploma, 2-year schooling and/or 5 plus years of demonstrated experience
