Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Floor Tech for long term care nursing facility in Rome, NY . Apply today. Walk-ins Welcome! Colonial Park Rehabilitation and Nursing, 950 Floyd Avenue, Rome, NY 13440. Floor Tech Key Duties Maintain all floors by sweeping mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility. Various pieces of equipment are properly and safely operated such as extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine. Maintains equipment in good working condition and stores properly in designated locations after each use. Dispose of all garbage throughout the facility. Perform other job-related duties as they become required. Floor Tech Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus. Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment a plus. Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
