Job description: Archem America, Inc. is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Maintenance/Tooling Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping our production equipment and systems operating in a safe, clean, and highly efficient manner. Troubleshoot & Repair:

Diagnose and fix mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system issues on production equipment.

Preventative Maintenance:

Perform scheduled PM duties and close out assigned PM work orders in a timely manner.

Equipment Upgrades:

Support engineering departments with machine modifications, utility runs (electrical, compressed air, etc.), and the installation/start-up of new equipment.

System Calibration:

Adjust and calibrate intricate mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.

Facilities & Safety:

Conduct general facility repairs and complete 3S activities to maintain a safe, healthy, and clean work environment. What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)

Experience/Education:

Industrial Maintenance Certification AND/OR at least three (3) years of industrial maintenance or machine repair experience (5 years preferred ).

Technical Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, machine wiring, and industrial electrical systems. Basic PLC troubleshooting skills. Basic machining skills.

Core Competencies:

High safety awareness, strong initiative, adaptability, excellent teamwork, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements & Work Environment This job operates in an active industrial plant floor environment using industrial equipment and tools. Ability to stand for up to 90% of the workday, walk, sit, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to occasionally lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds. Must be able to pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) examine to wear a respirator and maintain yearly clearance. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Travel Willingness to travel for training and potential support of other company locations.
