Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support our plant operations by maintaining mechanical systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance of production equipment. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting continuous plant operations and facility maintenance. Key Responsibilities Champion safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout, Confined space entry, hot work, and working from heights. Oversee Contractor Safety program. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, systems, and infrastructure. Assemble, repair, and maintain mechanical components including pumps, valves, piping, and production systems. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Maintain critical facility systems:

HVAC, air compressors, power generators, alarms, and fire safety systems. Manage and maintain workshop cleanliness and organization, including critical spare parts inventory. Respond to on-call maintenance issues and emergency breakdowns as needed. Support seasonal activities like facility deicing and mobile equipment upkeep. Keep records and accurately track work orders costs and completion timeliness.

Qualifications:

High School diploma GED Licensed Electrician, Industrial Mechanic, Instrumentation, or Equivalent Technical Certification (e.g., PLC Instrumentation) Knowledge of PLC industrial networks and mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Able to lift/move up to 50lbs frequently and up to 90lbs occasionally

Preferred:

5+ years of industrial or plant maintenance experience Forklift certification is a plus
