Overview Join our dynamic facilities maintenance team as a Maintenance Staff member and become a vital part of ensuring our buildings and equipment operate seamlessly. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of facilities systems and equipment. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across various maintenance disciplines while contributing to the smooth operation of our facilities. Hours for this position will be from 12 PM-8:30 PM. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building interior systems. Repair and maintain electrical systems using schematics, hand tools, electrical equipment repair techniques, and electrical work best practices. Conduct troubleshooting issues, ensure optimal performance. Carry out carpentry tasks such as maintenance painting, building interior repairs, and facilities equipment maintenance to uphold safety standards. Perform plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining plumbing infrastructure. Use welding skills for metal fabrication or repair projects when necessary; operate hand tools efficiently for various maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities; follow safety protocols at all times. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client requests promptly and professionally while ensuring minimal disruption. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles with knowledge of building interior maintenance practices. Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience. Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively; experience with welding is a plus. Strong understanding of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), building interior systems, and facilities equipment maintenance. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of reading schematics and technical manuals clearly. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, or working in confined spaces. Pay:
$23.50 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
