Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs amongst two locations to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, using technology for work orders, and communicating effectively with vendors. A willingness to learn and assist in small plumbing or electrical tasks is essential. The Maintenance Technician must have their own vehicle and be flexible to work overtime when necessary. Responsibilities Operate between two locations daily, ensuring consistent maintenance coverage across sites. Conduct weekly building inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns. Perform daily groundskeeping tasks to maintain the appearance and safety of outdoor areas. Use technology systems to receive, update, and close out work orders efficiently. Contact vendors for parts, services, or repairs as needed to support ongoing maintenance activities. Assist in make-readies and turnovers by preparing spaces for new occupants. Support small plumbing or electrical tasks where possible, with a willingness to learn more advanced skills over time. Understand basic building maintenance principles to troubleshoot issues effectively and perform minor repairs. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects and repairs. Be available to work overtime when required to address urgent maintenance needs or special projects. Qualifications Valid driver's license with reliable personal vehicle for commuting between locations. Prior experience or knowledge in building maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, and general building operations is advantageous. Ability to operate technology for managing work orders and communication tools efficiently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail during inspections and groundskeeping tasks. Good communication skills for interacting with vendors, team members, and management. Flexibility to work overtime as needed to support operational requirements. Pay:
