Maintenance Technician Triton Homes - 5.0 Tonawanda, NY Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $16 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Company truck On-the-job training Parental leave Qualifications Residential painting Construction painting Driver's License Attention to detail Materials handling Full Job Description We are seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and improvement of multiple mobile home communities. This is a hands-on position that involves a wide range of responsibilities, including home setup, renovations, general maintenance, and groundskeeping. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Company vehicles are provided for travel between communities, job sites, and local hardware stores. Key Responsibilities Set and prepare mobile homes for occupancy, including leveling, securing, and basic setup Perform interior renovations ("flipping" homes), including drywall, flooring, painting, trim work, and general carpentry Complete exterior work such as skirting, siding, minor roofing repairs, and general structural maintenance Conduct basic plumbing and electrical repairs and troubleshooting Perform routine maintenance and repairs across multiple communities Maintain and improve grounds, including mowing, trimming, and general lawn care Transport materials and supplies using company trucks Pick up necessary materials from local hardware stores as needed Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner Qualifications General knowledge of construction, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work preferred Previous maintenance or construction experience is a strong plus Willingness to learn — we are open to providing 100% on-the-job training for the right candidate Ability to use basic hand and power tools Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Valid driver's license and clean driving record required Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Company truck provided during work hours Opportunity for growth within the company Hands-on training and skill development Variety of work — no two days are the same
