In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of fences, ensuring they meet safety standards and customer specifications. Your expertise in carpentry, construction, and blueprint interpretation will drive successful fence construction projects from start to finish. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute fence installation projects. Measure, cut, assemble, and install different fencing materials using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols. Handle building materials with care, ensuring proper storage and transportation on construction sites. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to position posts, panels, and other fencing components during installation. Use welding techniques when necessary to reinforce fence structures or attach metal components securely. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and procedures throughout each project. Collaborate with team members to complete fencing projects efficiently while providing excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns on-site. Skills Strong carpentry and frame carpentry skills with experience in building material installation. Ability to read construction plans and interpret technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and concrete forming/finishing techniques. Knowledge of fence construction projects including post setting, panel attachment, and gate installation. Outdoor work experience with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely in various weather conditions. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and power tool safety standards.
