Edison Park Community is seeking an experienced handyman to help complete deferred maintenance and property improvement projects across our apartment portfolio in Akron. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who: Owns a handyman business Is semi-retired Works another maintenance job and wants extra income Enjoys project-based work with a flexible schedule What You'll Be Doing This role focuses primarily on property improvement projects, including: Drywall repair and patching Interior painting and touch-ups Faucet, toilet, and fixture replacement Caulking tubs and sinks Installing light fixtures, ceiling fans, and hardware Door adjustments, locksets, and door sweeps Window screens and trim repair Minor flooring repairs General punch-list items following annual inspections Preparing apartments for new residents This is not a full-time maintenance position responding to constant work orders. Most work is planned in advance.
