We're hiring two in-house maintenance technicians — one based in the Cleveland area and one in the Akron area. This position covers our Akron-area properties. Why Work With Us Steady, full-time work — 40 hours/week, no chasing side jobs or waiting on calls $22-$27/hr based on skills and experience, plus time-and-a-half overtime Earn your way up — after a 90-day introductory period, eligible for health insurance, paid time off and holidays, mileage reimbursement or a company vehicle, paid on-call, and a pay review Work orders on a phone app — a clear daily route, no guesswork Materials on hand from our own supply showroom — less time at the big-box store Room to grow — lead tech, maintenance supervisor, or into our construction/rehab crew Small, owner-run company — you talk directly to the decision-makers What You'll Do Complete tenant work orders: plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, drains, disposals), minor electrical (outlets, switches, fixtures), appliance troubleshooting, doors, locks, drywall, and painting Turn over vacant units between tenants — patching, painting, fixtures, and flooring repairs Perform preventive maintenance and property inspections Respond to after-hours emergencies on a shared on-call rotation Take before/after photos and close out work orders in the app Keep your vehicle, tools, and materials organized Requirements 2+ years of residential maintenance, handyman, or property maintenance experience Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle Your own basic hand tools (we supply specialty tools and materials) Able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in crawl spaces and attics Smartphone for work orders and photos Dependable, communicates clearly with tenants, and takes pride in finished work

HVAC, EPA
