Job Description
On-Call Maintenance Technician Athens, Ohio | On-Call / As Needed We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team on an on-call, as-needed basis at our unique property featuring both hotel rooms and long-term stay apartments. This is a great opportunity for someone with general maintenance, apartment, hotel, construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or handyman experience who enjoys solving problems and keeping a property in great condition. Responsibilities Respond to maintenance calls and complete work orders. Perform general repairs throughout hotel rooms, apartments, common areas, and the property. Handle basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, doors, fixtures, appliances, and other repairs. Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections. Assist with exterior property upkeep, including seasonal maintenance. Respond to emergency maintenance needs when called. Provide courteous, professional service to guests and long-term residents. Safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Follow all safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous maintenance, construction, hotel, apartment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Reliable and responsive when called upon. Able to work independently. Professional and courteous with guests, residents, and coworkers.
