Maintenance Technician

•Must have a plastics background• Day Shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Summary of job: Works extensively in repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining machinery, equipment, physical structures, and plumbing and electrical systems of the plant to meet production schedule and other company needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs preventive maintenance and repair on production equipment and auxiliary equipment to assure their continued performance in the production of customer's parts. Performs preventive maintenance and repair on the physical structure, plumbing, water and electrical systems of the plant to maintain their continual operation. Operates maintenance equipment and tooling needed to service and repair production equipment and plant support equipment such as lighting, plumbing, HVAC, grounds work, etc.

Experience / Education

High school diploma or general education training (GED), preferred, and a minimum of 2 years related experience and training. Must have a strong background in PLC's and electrical work Able to interpret machine schematics and possesses knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity and welding skills. Possesses knowledge of injection molds, processing and machinery
