Title:
Maintenance Technician Shift:
Full Time Day Shift (Overtime as needed)
Salary:

Maintenance Technician Role:
This role is responsible for the performance, upkeep, and repair of plant machinery to ensure uninterrupted production. We are seeking a seasoned, well-rounded professional capable of handling complex electrical and mechanical issues independently.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair electrical issues in commercial systems ranging from 110V to 575V Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on motors, burners, and industrial bearings Execute MIG and TIG welding and fabrication projects for both steel and aluminum Read and interpret complex machine schematics and electrical diagrams to identify root causes Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the maintenance shop and all work areas Complete daily and preventative maintenance tasks based on production urgency and machine needs Troubleshoot limited automation and robotics systems as needed Follow all safety protocols strictly, including Lock Out/Tag Out and OSHA regulations Mentor other technicians and operators by teaching them about equipment safety and operation
Maintenance Technician Reporting Relationships:
This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. It does not have any direct reports.
About You:
Demonstrate proficiency in commercial electrical systems ranging from 110V to 575V Read and interpret machine and electrical diagrams or schematics accurately Show skill in MIG and TIG welding techniques for both steel and aluminum Possess basic knowledge of plumbing systems including natural gas lines Utilize a wide range of tools safely and effectively for mechanical troubleshooting Use basic computer functions to complete maintenance logs and reports Hold a high school diploma or equivalent with preferred technical training in industrial maintenance Maintain a strong commitment to safe working habits and OSHA regulations
