This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, improving manufacturing processes, and keeping CNC machinery operating at peak performance. This position combines CNC machining knowledge, CAD/CAM skills, equipment maintenance, and process improvement to increase uptime, reduce scrap, improve quality, and support safe and efficient production. What You'll Do Design, program, and fabricate production fixtures, jigs, and workholding solutions using CAD tools. Create fixture drawings, assembly instructions, and manufacturing work instructions. Maintain accurate fixture documentation, including new designs, revisions, version control, obsolescence, and fixture locations. Support CNC machine accuracy and performance checks, including ball bar testing, calibration verification, and machine diagnostics . Perform and document preventive maintenance on Haas CNC machines and other production equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot Haas CNC machine alarms and faults using control diagnostics, alarm history, and machine parameter data. Perform hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs and replace components as needed. Troubleshoot equipment issues and return CNC machinery to service while minimizing production downtime. Maintain machine parameter backups, control/software updates, maintenance records, and critical spare-parts inventory. Work closely with production, engineering, quality, and other departments to improve equipment reliability and manufacturing processes. Identify opportunities to reduce downtime, eliminate waste, improve quality, and increase overall manufacturing efficiency. What We're Looking ForEducation & Experience High School Diploma or GED required. 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, CNC machining, or a related manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments. Technical Skills Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, CNC cells, and manufacturing workflows . Experience working with CAD/CAM software . Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience with CNC machine tools and related production equipment. Working knowledge of Haas CNC machines and controls strongly preferred. Ability to diagnose CNC equipment problems, complete repairs, and return machinery to production with minimal disruption. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, waste reduction, process optimization, and continuous improvement . Exposure to automation, in-process inspection, and lights-out machining strategies is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds , with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to move throughout a manufacturing facility and between departments throughout the workday.
