Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Door and Window Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing doors and windows across various residential and new construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets quality standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. Duties Measure door and window openings accurately using dimensional measurements and schematics to ensure proper fitment. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Install doors, windows and related components following safety protocols. Handle glass materials carefully during installation, including cutting, fitting, and sealing with caulking for optimal insulation and durability. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, fabrication, framing, door hanging, and remodeling tasks. Perform quality control checks on measurements and installations to ensure adherence to specifications. Assist with construction estimating tasks by providing accurate material measurements and identifying necessary supplies for projects. Conduct heavy lifting safely when transporting large glass panels or heavy door units on-site. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Proven construction site experience with a focus on door and window installation or related carpentry work. Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, measuring tapes, as well as power tools required for installation tasks. Experience handling glass materials safely during fabrication and installation processes Ability to perform precise dimensional measurements for quality control purposes. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in measuring and fitting components accurately.
