A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.
The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for proper functioning of all equipment and machinery in the facility. The ideal candidate will have a entry level background in maintenance and repair, as well as experience in leading a team.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Production and Operations Manager on scheduling PMs/ Repairs around production hours.
Conduct daily Crane/Safety inspections.
Maintain and repair machinery and/or work with vendor to repair.
Perform facility maintenance as able or work with vendor to complete.
Maintain and repair material moving equipment.
Source vendors and purchase maintenance materials while maintaining budget numbers.
Maintain Facility Water Reclamation System
Keep a clean and organized Stock Room, Office, and Maintenance Work Area
Requirements:
Strong Safety Background & Mindset (LOTO, ARC
FLASH, PPE
)
Excellent problem-solving skills and a desire to drive repairs with a sense of urgency.
7+ years' work experience in an industrial setting with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical ability (24vdc -480vac,read schematics ,PLC Knowledge & troubleshooting)
Great at Multi-Tasking, Time Management, Organization skills, Good Housekeeping and Leadership Capabilities
3+ years' work experience Using/Implementing Maintenance PM Software (HIPPO,CMMS,SAP), experience with writing standardized work instructions and inspection schedules
3+ years' Experience working with Robot and CNC stone fabrication equipment. (KUKA, BACA, PARK)
3+ years Food Industry experience
Fabrication and Welding Experience (Mig, Tig)
Ability to work with computer manufacturing/production and order entry programs.
Ability to work with Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Ability to work with 50+ pounds in tight spaces to work on machinery and facility.
Heavy Equipment Knowledge (mini excavator)
Knowledge of Water Reclamation System (Beck hart Filter Press)
Possess a valid driver's license.
