$26.00/Hour | Paid Weekly Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to ensure the daily functionality, safety, and reliability of facility equipment and designated work areas. This position will support preventive maintenance, equipment installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Maintain the daily functionality and upkeep of assigned facility areas. Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical equipment. Identify equipment issues, perform repairs, and replace defective parts. Verify proper operation of safety devices following repairs or installations. Support and maintain the preventive maintenance (PM) program. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation. Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and equipment care. Follow all workplace safety standards and maintain a safe, clean work environment. Participate in required training programs. Meet established KPIs related to safety, budget, customer satisfaction, 5S, and maintenance costs. Complete improvement opportunities identified by team members. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma required. College/University education or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum 2 years of relevant maintenance experience; millwright experience is an asset. Valid driver's license required. Forklift license preferred. Knowledge of equipment safety standards. Basic understanding of pneumatics is an asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a diverse work environment. Professional, tactful, and diplomatic interpersonal skills. Intermediate computer skills required. Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and post-offer testing.
