Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled general maintenance person to perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks for residential and/or commercial properties. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to complete quality work safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform general repairs and maintenance throughout properties. Complete basic carpentry, drywall, painting, caulking, and patching work. Repair or replace doors, locks, fixtures, hardware, and other building components. Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs as permitted by local regulations. Assemble furniture, shelving, and other equipment. Inspect properties and identify maintenance or repair needs. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Respond to maintenance requests and complete jobs within established timelines. Follow safety procedures and company standards. Communicate professionally with customers, tenants, property managers, and coworkers. Qualifications Previous handyman, maintenance, construction, or related experience preferred. Knowledge of basic repair and maintenance techniques. Ability to use common hand and power tools safely. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Good communication and customer-service skills. Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform physical work as needed.
Pay:
$14.00 per hour
