The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and possess a variety of technical skills to ensure the smooth operation of our facility. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within the facility. Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures. Work with electrical motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, single-phase and three-phase electrical systems. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Work with logic controllers to troubleshoot and maintain automated systems. Document all maintenance activities accurately in compliance with company policies.
Skills:
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Experience with electrical systems, including troubleshooting using an ohmmeter. Skilled and experienced in the areas of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, basic welding, and rigging. Ability to use a programmable logic controller (PLC) for troubleshooting purposes. Knowledge of heavy machinery safety (LOTO).
Working Environment:
Comfortable in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift and move equipment or parts that weigh up to 50 pounds. Sign on Bonus Available!
