Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a high-initiative, self-driven Production Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production floor, which includes Flexo Printing Presses, Laminators, Slitting Machines, and Pouch Machines . You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, and implementing improvements to reduce downtime and enhance productivity. Your ability to work independently, think critically, and take ownership of your work will directly contribute to our company's success in delivering high-quality products on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on Flexo Printing Presses, Laminators, Slitting Machines, and Pouch Machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with minimal supervision. Accurately read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics , blueprints, and technical manuals to identify and resolve complex issues. Monitor equipment performance, identify potential problems before they cause downtime, and take proactive corrective actions. Respond quickly and effectively to unplanned breakdowns, minimizing production interruptions and maintaining workflow continuity. Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance logs, service records, and parts usage reports. Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment upgrades. Assist in the installation, calibration, and testing of new machinery and components. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in all maintenance areas.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years' experience in maintenance within a manufacturing, printing, or packaging environment. Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics , wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Strong troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Demonstrated self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency with basic computer applications for maintenance tracking, reporting, and inventory management. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
