Job Description
Signarama Cleveland is looking for a highly skilled, mechanically minded Electrical Sign Installer / Service Technician to join our installation team. We're looking for someone who knows how to build, install, troubleshoot, and fix things and takes pride in doing the job right. Sign-industry experience is valuable, but we're also interested in experienced electricians, HVAC technicians, carpenters, construction tradespeople, equipment operators, and service technicians whose skills can transfer into the sign industry. This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone with a very high level of hands-on ability, strong problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude. What You'll Do Install commercial signs, channel letters, sign cabinets, monument signs, and other architectural signage Install and service electrical signs and lighting systems from low voltage through 480V Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems Work from ladders, lifts, bucket trucks, and crane trucks Perform field service and repair work Read drawings, measurements, and installation plans Work with a crew on commercial installation projects throughout Northeast Ohio Represent Signarama professionally at customer job sites What We're Looking For 10+ years of skilled trade, electrical, construction, mechanical, or sign-installation experience Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting ability Comfortable working at heights and outdoors Ability to safely use power tools and construction equipment Strong problem-solving skills—you don't give up when a job presents a challenge Positive attitude and a genuine "can-do" approach Dependable, professional, and able to work well with a team Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record CDL, electrical experience, welding/fabrication, crane, or bucket-truck experience are all a plus Sign-industry experience is a plus, but not required for someone with the right transferable skills What We Offer Competitive pay based on skill and experience , full-time year-round employment, weekday schedule, benefits, paid time off, overtime opportunities, and the opportunity to develop into one of the senior members of our installation team.
