Job Description
Our client, a leading technology and facilities operations organization, is seeking a Facilities Technician 3 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 3, you will be part of the Facilities Operations team supporting building maintenance, critical infrastructure, and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

- Pay Range:
- $32 - $34/hour upon FTE conversion
- What's the Job?
- + Monitor facility operations to ensure buildings remain safe, secure, and well-maintained while responding to maintenance issues as they arise.
+ Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVACR systems, chillers, mechanical equipment, and Building Automation Systems.
+ Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, automatic doors, gates, and material handling equipment.
+ Diagnose complex building system issues using blueprints, schematics, pressure readings, and airflow measurements to identify root causes and implement effective repairs.
+ Conduct daily building system start-up procedures and complete general facility repairs including lighting, painting, carpentry, and hardware maintenance.
- What's Needed?
- + High school diploma or GED required.
+ 5-7 years of facilities maintenance, HVAC, mechanical, or building operations experience.
+ Strong understanding of HVAC fundamentals, electrical systems, refrigerant handling, and troubleshooting techniques.
+ Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and working with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
+ Ability to work independently on a 3rd-shift schedule while demonstrating excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
