Job Description Essential Job Functions:
Cover the press line for all hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems. Work on and make permanent improvements to all building, production and maintenance systems. Complete appropriate documentation and logbooks. Support and assist all work centers. Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on all building, production and maintenance equipment. Assist in setting molds and dies when necessary. Keep machinery, equipment and plant structure in operating condition. Maintain and install piping, fittings, valves, gauges, traps and all types of controls for high- and low-pressure hydraulic systems and steam and air lines. If assigned second or third shift, complete die changes and project work. Preventative maintenance, lubrication of various machinery. Responsible for any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. Assist in shut down and start-up of the plant according to procedures. Cover for vacations and illness on the shift and be able to work overtime on short notice. Has responsibility for continuous improvement, corrective actions and quality of products.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be able to read electrical, hydraulic and wiring print. Must be able to prioritize workload with other work centers. Must possess a valid tow motor license. May be required to work overtime with little or no notice. May be required to rotate shifts when needed. Must possess good oral and written communication skills. High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. Strong organizational skills. Ability to handle a wide variety and diversity of tasks.
