Job Description:

The Duct Fabrication Machine Operator is responsible for operating equipment used in the manufacture of HVAC ductwork and related components.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate automated and manual duct fabrication equipment including plasma cutters, coil lines, brake presses, and Pittsburgh lock machines Set up, adjust, and calibrate manufacturing equipment for different product specifications Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet dimensional and quality standards Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Experience operating industrial manufacturing equipment, preferably in sheet metal or HVAC fabrication Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements Attention to detail and commitment to quality Good communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

Stand for extended periods Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds Bend, stoop, and reach frequently Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
