  • 8AM Job Summary MS Companies is supporting a growing thermal and acoustical solutions provider in the automotive industry in the search for Maintenance Technicians in Delaware, OH.

This is a hands-on maintenance role supporting production equipment, presses, tooling, robotics, and general plant maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and automated manufacturing equipment. Open to local contract-to-hire candidates as well as out-of-state contractors for immediate needs. Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in an industrial maintenance or general maintenance role
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, presses, machinery, and support equipment
  • Strong hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems, including 480V 3-phase power
  • Ability to use a multimeter or Fluke meter for electrical troubleshooting
  • PLC troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment controls, welding, and general machine repair Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with robotics, especially Fanuc
  • Familiarity with ABB or Motoman robots
  • Experience with molds, dies, trimming devices, presses, or automated production equipment
  • Knowledge of mechanical power transmission, including gears, drives, sprockets, and related components
  • Ability to read prints and support equipment repairs or improvements
  • Experience with prototype or sample part production
  • Comfortable working in a warm, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
  • Interest in additional PLC or robotics training Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing machines, presses, robotics, building equipment, and support equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance to help reduce downtime
  • Install molds, dies, trimming devices, fixtures, racks, boards, and related press equipment
  • Set up and tear down equipment related to dies, presses, molds, and fixtures
  • Inspect fixtures, tools, and gauges to ensure they are ready for use
  • Verify first-piece production meets required specifications
  • Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing processes to support quality production
  • Work with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams on equipment repair, safety, design, and process improvements Key Measurables

  • Equipment repaired and returned to production with minimal downtime
  • Quality parts produced from maintained or repaired equipment

  • Manufacturing plant environment with regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting
  • Work around production machinery, presses, robotics, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical systems
  • Must be comfortable working in a high-heat manufacturing environment
